Background and Qualifications

As well as a relationship therapy MA, I have  postgraduate diplomas in couple/family counselling and psychosexual therapy (University of Hull), a graduate certificate in couple therapy (University of East London),diploma in clinical supervision and consultancy (The Grove) and EMDR Europe accredited training in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing.I am an EMDR counsultant and a clinical supervisor, currently in private practice, but have also supervised for Rape Crisis and Relate Mid-Wiltshire,  Cymru, the Isle of Man and Plymouth.

I am a qualified teacher, offering CPD and having lectured since 2009, for the Foundation for Counselling and Relationship Studies, Relate Institute,  Amersham & Wycombe College and  University College London and also offering bespoke training and workshops as well as an ongoing portfolio of training for counsellors and therapists.  My own continued training and continuous professional development is essential to the way I practice.

I am a senior accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, and accredited member of the College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists, for both practice and supervision and am an accredited consultant with EMDR Europe.

I have special interests in neurodivergence, attachment and dating.
